Description
DataCrest is hiring a Data Engineer to build and maintain the pipelines that power analytics for 200+ retail customers. You will work with Snowflake, dbt and Airflow, and partner with our analytics engineers to model data cleanly.
Responsibilities:
- Build reliable ELT pipelines ingesting data from POS systems, Shopify, and ERPs
- Own our dbt project: models, tests and documentation
- Optimize Snowflake warehouse cost and performance
- Implement data quality monitoring
Requirements
- 3+ years in data engineering
- Expert SQL; solid Python
- Hands-on experience with dbt and a cloud warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery or Redshift)
- Experience with Airflow or similar orchestrator
- English B1+ (most communication is written)
